Hi Guys
Just a quick introduction to your great forum - I am Dave from West Lancs.
I am currently on long term sick leave and came across a Heng Long Panzer III on Ebay - and thought it may be in interesting project to try and upgrade the basic model.
The one I have is the basic "3 Frequency - 9 band for change" model (No 3848) - no sound or smoke. (apparently the wrong one to start with!!)
It works ok and looks like I could upgrade the gears, wheels , tracks etc and give it a decent paint job over the coming weeks and months.
The electronics on this model seem to be very poorly assembled - would it be possible for me to upgrade the current pcb marked as "Henlo TK01" to say the RX 18 module? (I believe I would have to add a receiver module?) - I am not really bothered about smoke but sound would be good.
If any one could answer the above questions and point me in the right direction I would be very grateful - I hope to get get to know every one during the the coming months.
Cheers
Dave
