How come the edit button shows sometimes and others not? I was going to re-do a few things and correct some late night spelling but can't........

After a post is loaded the edit function should appear any time you are on line and it is your post. Could you be more specific? Are you refering to drafts you have saved? They would need to be re-loaded to edit?

The edit time is limited to 10 minutes after the initial post.

I've changed it to unlimited time for editing, just in-case anybody needs it.
