Hi Guys
Another question/s!
I have a HL bulldog and i want to convert it to the infrared sensor system. At the moment it fires BBs.

The tank has a rx-18 board, so i'm assuming it can be upgraded by pluging the sensor into the rx-18 board and than removing the BB gun from the turret and than feedin the sensor down the barrel.
Am I right?
if so can some tell what the parts are called(infra sensor I know, but not sure what the wires are called or were I would get them from).

Also is this system anygood?

Hi, have not used one.but as my tiger came with infra red system and rx 18 which i replaced with elmod which is not compatible with elmod. Anyway yhe sensor led is fitted to the mantlet mg hile rather than the main gun barrell. You can then fit a flash in the main gun barrell. I have an unused henglong sensor if yoy are interested.
I believe the tamiya is better but do not know if it connects direct to henglong rx18. if you are battling against other tanks your system will need to be compatible. What are your friends using?

My mate hasnt bought his yet, but it going to be one fitted with a heng long sensor.
I assume all heng long sensors are compatible with each other yes/no?

Does your sensor come with all the leads(the flash lead and the sensor lead)?
if it does im interested.

Hi, just checked the leads. comes with the 5 pin socket to connect to rx18 on one end then splits into LED to fit into mantlet and socket into which the sensor fits. Never used as converted immediatly to elmod which is not compatible.

So all i'd need is the flash lead for the barrel?
Are these purchasable?

is there any chance you can send me a photo as i need to know if i'll be able to secure the sensor plug in place onto the tank?

I think all the plugs and LED are included. Just need to fit the LED to mantlet. The other socket screws into comanders cupola and the sensor plugs into this. Then the other plug goes to a 5 pin socket on the rx18. I think that is all the wiring required. As for the gun flash. I used the asiatam recoil unit and high voltage flash. Works great on my tiger but tried 2 units in panzer iii and neither work so have my doubts there. Appears to be a mechanical problem. I will try later to get a photo. I believe rctank.de would have any connection you need for flash and dominique could give advice on what you need.
