Hi,
I use a Futaba Skysport 4 with mine (and all my other Tamiyas, until the latest project that needed 7 channels then went with the Futaba 7C), the Skysport 4 is a pretty good basic Tx, if you can still get them !!!
To be honest though, I very rarely have the gun stabalizer switched on on mine because it doesn't look prototypicle enough, it would be OK if you only ever went up and down smooth long inclines etc, but over rough terrain at this scale its too sensative and is bobbing up and down all the time, looks like a Darlek :haha:

Try setting the gun stabalizer to the gear channel as a heli..then you can get the gain for how much you want it to work as in the amount of movement.

One other thing..typing in caps is not very easy to read..

hope this helps.

Forgot to say..set up your gear channel 1st in the sub menu..then set the gain in main menu..it may need a channel mix.

Tamyia gun stabilzer is nothing more than a very crude gyro system...with the up and down movement from centre..

Now if you set this system on the gear channel you can set it as though it was a gyro and the amount of movment is determined by the gain you set into the hand set.

On a Dx7 you could also use the Ax2 channel.

As i say you may need to do some channel mixing ..just refer to your users manual for the channels you want to mix.
