Picked up a 1/16 VW Beetle a while ago, it's not RC but it makes a good prop-

Just posted on "that other site" about this, my DAK should be finished by the weekend with a bit of luck. Trying to find another one for an ambo but they're as rare as hell or silly money.

Thanks.

I was planning on making it RC but I decided I've got too many tanks projects on the go and I just wanted to get something built.

I have this kit,and was going to build the version cross with the Kubelwagen drive train, but to much other stuff in pieces. Yours looks grand, their is a picture in the Grossdeutschland History of a field eastern front before Kursk with 20 beetles and Kubelwagen all Gray and looking weathered. Really good job thanks for sharing.

Always thought the map light odd,but functional considering your a commander, captain or maybe major and driving around Russia at night in a Gray Beetle, hard to imagine how professional these guys were and given the equipment the job they were asked to do.
