Tiger S23, winter camo?

Hi,
Just looking for your thoughts really.
Since my (fairly) recent postings in "show off" of my, first, R/C Tiger the beast has been developing! I'm very happy, in terms of weathering etc., but decided the tank needed to be turned into a more accurate 'replica'. A quick deal on the bay secured some nice Tamiya decals centring around Tiger S23 of Das Riech. After doing some preliminary research I noticed that this particular Tiger fought on the Eastern Front during the winter of 1943-1944. I can find photos of S21, S22 and S24 fighting during this period, with a few photos of them done up in winter camo. So i think it would be fair that the whole battalion followed suit.
My problem is; I can find pictures of S(8)/23 in desert yellow, some in yellow/green camo and a couple in panzer grey. Considering that S23 did fight on the Eastern front during the winter is it fair to do a version in winter camo? I have photos that confirm her sisters fought whilst painted in winter camo.
My thoughts are that if you gave six different modellers a Tiger and said do a version of S23 you'd end up with six (very) different models. So; winter camo will I get away with it?
Cheers.
