hi guys, can anyone with a good electrical knowledge (as mine isn`t but i am learning)tell me why after fitting plastic gearboxes into a heng long pan tiger, forward on the transmitter is now reverse and reverse is now forward,it was a pro version but i robbed all the good bits for my tiger 1 and everything on that works fine,it`s not a major issue ,its just bugging me,any thoughts would be great.

ps the pantiger was a present,i didn`t part with my hard earned cash for it.

if you have the rx 18 you have them in the wrong way round you need to swap the wires round at the box to the motors
i found that out or the red and black wires on the motor have been soldered on wrong
cheers Derek

A quick way to check them is to look at the motor bodies , there are 3 'slots' - the single slot has a red wire (+)nearest , the double slotted side has the black (-) cable . If they are correct - try swapping the plugs over at the RX 18 .

thanks for the reply gents,i should have mentioned it isn`t the rx18 ,i think its the rx14,i just cut the wires and then soldered them to the wires on the motors,ie i joined the wires together, not direct to either the board or the motors
