Hi Jack
I know which one you mean I've thought about getting it. The points which put me off is that it doesn't come with a metal hull or other metal upgrades which a lot of people seem to be going for. And that's all the cons in my opinion.

well actually i don't really wan't to spend more that £200 so the tamiya is a no go and i am sad to hear that it doesnt come with a metal hull but i might be able to find a upgrade somewhere.
if anyone else knows of any pros/cons then please let me know
thanks jack

Been to have a look on the Welsh Dragon site, this does look like a nice tank, paintwork is well done and it has a fill recoiling barrel, which is good too.

This forum is the pro and con, Xrad built a Tamiya hulled H/L Jagdpanther. I purchased the metal lower hull for a King Tiger from Tamiya America for 8.92 us. I did this so when the new Porsche King Tiger does come out I can have a metal hull.
Use the search function and you may find several half breed builds, keeps the cost down yet you have a solid foundation.

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.p ... id=4005120" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 50.00US for the Lower Hull, now the running gear and the control arms and other parts can be shopped for at Jason's store, My point being you can build this tank for about half the cost of a Tamiya and still have a solid running tank.

Saxondog the jagdpanther uses the same hull as the panther so you can get all the parts from JR RC and the lower hull is 25.90 from him

Hi all...the panther is ok!.. well, it is a heng long....and that is the point. Do not compare, either pay for the tamiya or buy the cheaper version... there are so many after market parts that make both silly...I should know!..it is a case of, either a good runaround, or something you mod up and are scared to use in the garden..(at this point I am now scared to use mine!).....then again, buying a stock heng long is the way forward to batteries in and go!....
