I have quite a large collection of 1/16 RC Tanks (all WWII) both HL and Tamiya. I do like the big ones King Tigers have become my favourite and i was missing the presence of a Jagdtiger.
At the time i could not find a kit on the market so at the beginning of the year i started my scratch built 1/16 RC Jagdtiger.
Materials used:
1. Cannibalised HL Pantiger
2. Tamiya KT hull, suspension and tracks
3. Ply 4mm to 12mm thickness
Workshop: Mostly my mother"s living room (much to her delight)
Time taken: 4.5 months

Thank you all for your good words.
As promised here are some pictures with the detailing so far. As you will probably notice it has received some direct hits, none of them penetrating-of course!
I still have to add tools (cannibalised from the Pantiger, dremelled off, need painting) and detailing), cables, madflaps at the back (maybe i will manufacture some fenders too),seal the gaps and splash some dirt.
I definitely would like to improve on the smoke unit. I have some good input so far from this and other forums and hopefully well noticed puffs of smoke will come out from the exhausts. The current HL smoke unit is surely no match for the mighty beast.
Then again a project never finishes, you just stop it
BTW, i am very fond of the HL electronics and RC, perhaps not as sophisticated as the Tamiya, but far more user friendly, compact and for the price unbeatable!
