hi all
any one got a tamiys 1/25 chefitan rc kit ??
i need some dimentions .... of the road wheels ... sprockets ... and tracks ...
can any one help?

If your really stuck I can dig out one of my Centurions and measure bits on them.

thanks ... but the sprockets .and tracks are different ....but thanks for the offer ... it looks like i will just take the risk and buy the kit ??

Hi,
I have the original Tamiya 1/25 hand controller Chieftain from 34 yrs ago. I started a HL electronics conversion ~4yrs ago, but have done nothing since!
I think the modern kit is based on the same moulds.
Road wheels: 32mm dia x 13mm width
sprocket: 25mm dia exc teeth, 31mm inc teeth x 16mm width
front idler(?): 24mm dia x 10mm width
Tracks: 24mm width

Hi Iain,
Glad I could help. Any more dimensions required - just ask. Sorry but it's not for sale! As you've brought it back to mind and I've just finished an HL Pershing refit, I might just take out the large RX13 board I put in the Chieftain ~4yrs and start fitting the smaller RX18 board tonight and try to kick start my conversion again!
