Hey guys I was just wondering if there is any new information regarding the Heng Long King Tiger?

as yet no heng long still no word yet i have asked every week so far and will keep on at them dave

heng long Königstiger ( king tiger ) that be better than the matorro king tiger then i would'nt have to do the up grade on the electric's
think i'll wait till they come out Dave put me down for one of them

Just rumours here in Canada.

I was at the Toronto Hobby Show in Nov. 2010 and pressed the Canadian supplier for a date and they said they thought perhaps Feb. 2011; which has come and long gone without any HL KT. There is no sign of it on the market here, nor any word as to when we might see it.

My interest has dissipated in the HL KT somewhat after cruising the internet and seeing indications that the HL KT will have the "Porsche" turret.

I was hoping for the "production" turret since my focus is on the east front and I am pretty sure all but a few of the 50 or so "Porsche" turret tanks we deployed in the west.

Glenn, I believe Grossdeutschland may of had a few in the late stages of the Baltic defence. I have a photo of Grossdeutschland crewed Porsche King Tiger, I have found one record referencing a company of King Tigers fighting in the East in Grossdeutschland s Division.

My Jagdpanther is modelled after a Grossdeutschland Jagdpanther equipped unit Fuhrer Grenadier Brigade. Which unit of the East do you model?

Panther G; Hermann Goering Div., Poland 1944

Tiger I; Abt 506, mid 1943

Stug III F8, Stug Abt 210, May 1943

Jagdpanther; 9th SS, Hungary, 1945

Panzer IV F2; GD, 1942

Current project; Tiger I (with SLU), Das Reich, spring 1943

Unfortunately for me, I wanted the production turret version.

october is the next time we will see this as waltersons have hog the orders as yet there is no real date but the few i have had have gone and they had metal gears so i hope to fill the rest of the guys who needed them soon
