reducing voltage

hey guys can someone please tell me how to reduce 8.4 or 7.2 battery packs to around 4 volts for lazer power?iwant to use the lead to the turrent l.e.d. for power thanks for any help  j ???

I think the power to the turret led is 3 - 4v so there's no need to lower it.

i checked it with volt meter it is 7.2 with current batt,the lLED lead comes off gun motor........LED had a resistor on it to reduce power to LED i guess but i wasnt paying attention and cut rite on it....pays to have good lighting

hi impact, that looks a great bit of kit, i could use that for the HL smoker into an elmod setup, how much is it and where can you get it?

Hi Tony,
yes, it is small.

The PCB measures 20mm x 30mm. The total height (measured to the wire clampers) is 12mm
From the simple Voltage table, when the INPUT (Battery source) is more than 7.50V (up until the maximum of 15V), the OUTPUT (@ max) will regulate and hold at 6.45V.

To cut the cost down, this item is marketed without a casing, but a double side tape is included to paste at the soldering side.
