I have been toying with the idea of getting into RC tanks for some time now so I am delighted to have found this site. I live in Central Scotland and have been a closet Tank fanatic for some time now. Started with WWII wargames in which I loved Soviet Tank based games and moved onto building 1/35th scale static models and am now looking for my first 1/16th scale RC model sometime this year.
Great to have such experts to hand and all the advice I have read thus far is brilliant. I will probably have loads of questions before getting my first tank so I hope that is OK.
Cheers
ray

Welcome, Have you decided on which tank you will start with? Ask Dave (Forgebear) he is a top rated vender and UK Based as well.

I think it would need to be a T34/85 if there is such a beast, if not any soviet tank would do for starters

I think I saw that Tamiya was bringing out a T34 but not sire if it is any good to start with.
and Gunshy is there a club or group in Scotland then, if so that would be BRILLIANT...
I can see this is gonna be fun

Well there's 3 I know of on here that are all Central Belters.
Heng Long do a Kv1. I just noticed Tamiya do the bonkers Kv2.
I've still got a Panther to start, I'm not supposed to be shopping.
