Yes im a bit behind the times and i still have a PS2 but there has got to be some tank games out there for it, i have WWII Tank Battles but its not a great game,  any suggestions

Panzer Front is the best tank game i've found for the playstation. Its actually a PS1 game, graphics are quite dated but the game play and control is great. its just like driving an RC tank and you have option for using different tanks and auto/manual transmission. I think its been around since 2000 but its one of those games i'll never sell, still play it every now and then when i get the chance. You get different missions to play as UK/US/German or Russian and some famous battles like Kursk & Villers Bocage. You can even change the tanks on your side and the enemies, and it includes some experimental "what if" tanks you can try out.

Its sequal "Pazer Front AusF.B" came out on the PS2 but was very dissappointing and doesnt have anywhere near the replay value of the original. It wasnt even released in the UK, i got mine from Austrailia.

i just got panzer front as well, i played it years ago and loved it, graphics are a bit dated now but still a great game and not too many buttons to use and confuse you....

I dug mine out when this thread started and have been playing it on & off since. Only thing with it is the enemy usually turn up in the same place on the missions, so once you've played it a lot it can get a bit "now if i hide behind this bush here.... a Panther should come down that lane any minute BINGO", which is pretty good for your ego

Having said that it'll still surprise you every now and then.

One of those games I'll never get rid of.

have you tried panzer elite fields of glory its for the ps2 and its also good......

Yeah, panzer elite: fields of glory is good, though I cant get past the michael whittman mission
