Howdoo
can anyone help please, are the gearboxes and motors in the above mentioned any different from the other Heng Long tank range. I know the allied tanks they produce have longer shafts.
thank you and regards Jack.

Not really clear on this, are you asking if the Panther G and Jagdpanther have different gearboxes than the Heng Long complete line? Or just which tanks are different of the axis tanks?

Are you needing to use a set from the Panther, to install in another H/L Tank? I am curious as well to know which tanks have interchangeable gearboxes?

Howdoo Saxondog, i'm looking to cobble together a panther g, and was wondering if the standard gearboxes and motors on the panther g and jagdpanther were the same as the other german tanks Heng Long make, ie the tiger, pantiger, panzer 3 and 4 all have the same gearboxes ( i think ). I've got some spare gearboxes and motors from a tiger and was wondering if i could fit them in a panther g hull
regards Jack.

Yes I think the Tiger,Panther G and Jagdpanther will interchange. I am a little slow at times but wanted to be sure of the information you needed and that I gave an accurate answer. cheers Blake

Perishing gearboxs dont fit !
the final drive gear is the wrong way round as are all of the gears on one of the gearboxs to allow for the mounting screw + the jagdpanther/panther G gearbox's are low profile otherwise they foul the front of the upper hull where the jagd / panther G machine gun ball is

have a look at the pics and note the gears on the left hand side

jagdpanther gearbox's Below

Perishing / Bulldog gearbox's below

there's 4 types of heng long std gearboxs as far as I have found
hope this helps

hi all when i upgraded my panther to brass gearboxes i changed the pershings plastic gearboxes for the panthers old ones they went straight in no probs i think the panther ones are low profile so the pershing gears might not fit ??? :S
having said that i have not tried so they might :S
