What type of radio receiver are you using. I had this first time also. When it finally picks up signal the green light will stay green.

I'm using a 2.4g Jamara, How long does it take to get a green light? I put up with the flashing for 10min before giving up.

Is it flashing fast or slow? Fast indicates no signal form the reciever....slow is loss of communication with another moule.
Doesw any function work or absolutely nothing?
I had an experience with one of mine that had a hairline crack in the soundcard, and this allowed nothing to work on the tank.
Make sure that you are correctly bindign the radio to the reciever...which I am sure you turied already. Then check all connections at the reciever.

I had exactly the same problem with the jamara. Took ages and then just bonded. I think the radio needs to be more than a metre away. I got so frustrated with it I put a post up also. Try switching everything off then starting from scratch. Check connections also. Make sure you follow the instructions. Once you get it bonded there should be no repeat of the exercise.

I'm about to throw £200 in the rubbish bin!
Which way do the cable plugs go in the receiver, wire to the top or bottom?
Do I have to have everything connected to the boards to get the light to stop flashing?

Dominique talked me into Elmod and told me it was simple.............

What I really need is step by step instructions.

I would say the Elmod is OK. The jamara bonding is a pain. One thing I think helped with my jamara bonding was ignoring the coloured wires. Do not connect coloured wires for now for now. Just the bonding wire and the battery wire. Make sure you have a good charge in both tank and radio.

The instructions say press the bonding switch.
Connect bonding wire to battery socket. The battery socket (red and black) to any other socket.
Switch on the power to the tank.

When bonded the LED should stop flashing.

When bonded the red and black cable goes in the B socket and bonding cable not needed. In mine the final position of the coloured wires was oposite to red and black.

You can try the battery wire in both directions. I also tried ignoring the instructions and connected the bonding cable in another socket and battery cable in its own socket and I think this worked. The channels 1 and 2 in mine were switched 2 and 1 .

This drove me nuts for a couple of days also but in the end worked well. Sorry I have no pictures as I'm using a futaba now. (No bonding issues there and can run ten vehicles on one radio)

I think the big problem with the jamara is the instructions are not an accurate translation from the original and are probably misleading.

Gday John,
Thanks for all the advice, I have tried all this but still no go. I may put it away for a week before I throw it. I think I will go back to HL electronics as I just can't determine if it's the Jamara or Elmod or both. I'm so frustrated and this hobby is suppose to be fun and relaxing!!!!
Thanks again,

Mic

When is the green light suppose to go out? I can get the red on receiver to stop flashing, does this mean it is bonded? but the elmod green keeps flashing fast, do you have to have the coloured wires in place before it stops?????????????????????????
