Post by sparks »

Is there any recognised convention on polarity when using Deans connectors.

Some connectors are marked up and I have been told the top of the "T" should be positive and the vertical is negative - well thats how I have wired mine.
Hope that helps.

Hi,

I wire mine the same way purely because its easy to remember - the positive goes a-cross.

Thanks guys, mine are'nt marked up but what you have said seems to make sense, especially as thats how I did mine :haha: The main thing to remember is that the "live" connection from battery or whatever is connected to the female side.
