I am building a tank pit. I need to have as many tanks in there battling at once. Maybe 6-7? Do the tanks only come with 3 changeable frequencies? OR do some tank come with 6 or more? if so, which ones. I am looking for the 1/16 with smoke/metal/sound etc.
Does it make a difference on which manufacturer you are buying from?
How does one get new "crystals" if needed.
Does anyone have a manual for any of these tanks?
Thanks for your input.
I am new to this!
This is similiar to what I plan on purchasing..German Jagdpanther or Metal Track DAK Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F-1 1/16

Thanks... but I noticed that one of my tanks has in interchangable crystal while several of the others do not, they just have a choice to switch it to A B or C channel?
How do I know which frequencies the A B and C channel are on?

hi A/B/C/
is a non smoke and sound tank you can only run 3 tanks no this set up 1 on A 1 on B 1on C the chip is in the board
if you want to run up to ten tanks at a time you need the smoke and sound ones or you can covert you tanks to the smoke and sound rx 18 boards but you will need to get a transmitter for them as well
crystal numbers are 27.145
27.195 27.095 27.550 27. 245 27 . 295 27 . 345 27 . 600 27 . 650 27 . 680 all fm
hope this helps dave

Hi Dave is correct here all the Radios with a switch A,b,c, are non smoke and sound,You can swop them over to the RX18 board with a reciever card and a new transmitter minimum plus a speaker if you want sound (the smoke unit is optional They look good on a cold day but eat batteries for fun),Dave will be able to supply them.
Make sure when you buy your next Tank it states it is smoke and sound with Metal gearboxes(metal tracks if possible),there are still alot of nonsmoke and sound on E-bay (Be very careful when buying a Panther there are loads of Pantigers around) ,always deal with someone who is reccommended on here.Like Dave.
