Hello,
I am a new member looking for a tanker community. From a little city Alesd in Romania and a tank enthusiast. scale 1/16-th and 1/6-th.
I have collected all the HengLong Mato and Matorro models included the m16 halftrack after that i discovered the 1/6 scale so i started to collect those figures included. I am a mechanical engineer and since about 6 month i only do my hobby. I also have RC airplanes (4) and helicopters (4) Buggys (2) and a crawler. It is important to me the functioning. So all of my tanks and afv-s need to be rc-d. I-ve modded my tanks and had repainted some having finished 3 heng long-s by now. I'm about to finish the 1/6-th kettenkrad, my first major proiect transforming it in RC. I've redone it like 3 times but finally i've succeded. It is also important the historical accuracy so all of my models are matching some photos and specs..The airsoft firing and smoke sound also a must !. I bought El-mod and prepaqring for Benedini too.
Also mounted some tiny cameras on turret for IR fight. Is a total different experience.. Unfortunately her in Romania we are only 5 (which i could find and present on the only forum)(included me) and only one more in the 1/6-th scale.. 1/6 figure collecting is only me ..I think..Could not find anybody else here. I am preparing to do some animatronic stuff also for my upcoming 1/6th armor : What i already have:1/16: Tiger, Panther G,Panther (the bad one), Jagd panther, PIII, PIV, PIV tauch, Stug, Kv1, King tiger, M16 halftrack, Pershing , Walker Bulldog, Sherman, Sturmtiger. lots of 1/16 figures . On the Big stuff 1/6 : DID Kettenkrad, Dragon kettenkrad, R75 metal BMW, Flak 38, Jeep with metal armour , Jeep (2) , Kubel, Armour Hobbies Sdkfz 250, Pak 38, Panzer II Dragon due to arrive in 2 weeks Pak 40, American antitank gun. Out of these Only the ketten is RC-d the rest is a upcoming project. (I already own them but they are either static or kit)I also have some 1/6 WWII figures. My two other major projects are the scratchbuild Sdkfz 234 Puma, which i already made the rubber tires. I also participate in a tiger 1 project together with some hungarian enthusiasts , we have already the sprockets, hull and some resin parts.
It is ment to be both highly accurate . I might present them here if any interest.
You might think it is too much, but i don't care how long it takes i will do it untill i will enjoy it. I have a small shop with Lathe, CNC mill(small), Zamac casting, laser cutting ;D . And also have some help from friends and the other project participants..

Hi Tigertiki and welcome to the forum, that is a fantastic collection you have there. Is the Puma that you are scratch building in 1/16 scale? If it is will you be making any more to sell? I would be very interested if they are for sale. Best wishes Mark
