It looks heavy lol...saw the pic with the hull on the dolly.....the dolly is a dead giveaway ....then the ramps to get it on the dollyJP 233 wrote:Many thanks for the comments guys.
Yes the barrel and mantlet had already suffered a similar accident when I got it. Will be wary when tackling embankments. Barrel is now part stainless steel and copper pipe and double the fibre glass so should be a bit more robust hopefully.
Weighs at least 2 slipped discs and a hernia Haven't weighed it but its a little heavier than the original due to a fair amount of additional metal added to strengthen/improve and detail.
That was hilarious...don't tell the little woman I said that...but it was...I thought someone got shot or had a heart attackYes the camera phone was nearly dropped and I had to edit out the x rated expletive. The wife was a expecting something like a party popper. I had explained it was going to be a bit louder than that. Not the best clip but will do another when its all weathered and the commander finished.
Funny video...you should send it in to one of those video shows

Been a while. New job doesnt leave a lot of spare time. Picked up the paint brush. Did some weathering on the tools and some more work on this guy. Not far off done now.

Even with a black and white shot, it's easy to see how well this marathon 7-year project has finally delivered a model to be proud of, and one to show off. More pics please, with more detail

Thanks guys. Been busy with other interests and just not had time. As it never sees the light of day I'm thinking of letting it go for someone else to enjoy it.
