RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

I am from Durban, South Africa and am part of the 139 Armor Group. We seem to be the only active group in the country at present. We have 12 - 14 active 1/16th Tamiya tankers with a collection of some 27 tanks. We have a scratch built Comet and T-34 and a Dragon Wagon close to completion.

My collection at present consists the following;
2 x Shermans - vintage
1 x Sherman - full option
1 x Leopard I - vintage
1 x Gepard - vintage
1 x King Tiger Porsche turret - vintage (conversion to JagdTiger full option soon)
1 x King Tiger Porsche turret - full option
1 x King Tiger Henschel turret - vintage

That is a nice collection you have and it must be nice to have so many enthusiasts in your group.

Hi ,welcome to the forum large collection of tanks you have there, love to see photos of collection.

This is really a great website, with tons of info. I only found it by accident, searching for tank clubs in SA. I will advise the other guys to register.

We have a good solid group that basically grows each month. All our members have other RC interests, mainly scale boating and electric cars.

I will post pics soon. I am currently working on the costing to do the JagdTiger conversion. Cannot afford to do mods to all the other older models. My collection started with the Leopard 56002 25 years ago and I've held on to it since then. The Gepard 56003 and King Tiger 56004(both mint condition) were traded for a RC heli 2 weeks ago.
