Hey there!
Bit new to all this forum lark but i'll give it a go.... I'm Dazz and i'm the very proud owner of a Matorro RC T-34/85 which in serious need of some modifications.
I've got some steel tow cables and some tank crew figures on the way but any advice you seasoned vets (and fellow noobs) can dole out would be much appreciated....
Many tanks

Welcome DAZZ, I'm sure some of the Russian Tank owners will come forward to offer advice on your T34/85.

Welcome to the forum Sir!
I also just got a T34 myself and from my understanding the Asiatam 'Low Profile' boxes are a good replacement. I actually would rather try making a 3s LiPo with voltage regulation work

cool, yeah power does seem to be an issue (especially as metal tracks are in order!)
i'm also thinking about installing a new ir system, maybe the TBU or i found this site:
http://www.rccommand.com/Tank%20Upgrade%20Parts.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
which says it tamiya compatible, but i'm not sure, i just want to smash panzers....

I'm going with Elmod on mine. I have the DBCRC2 in my HL Tiger I but I would like to try the Elmod in either the T34 or my Asiatam Tiger I

I've had a look, and i reckon a HL kit would be best (price-wise) as it'll leave scope for further upgrading, i'm gonna be making a few alterations to the look of the tank too, as i used to model and convert Games Workshop stuff and the urge to cut things up and 'improve' them never really left me!
Got any pic's up of your T-34/85?
