Does anyone knows the exact specs of the IR Led used by the Heng Long IR tanks?

I found all the parts needed to do the conversion to IR at Dave (Forgebear), but he doesn't stock the IR leds. I suspect those can be found at local electronis shops, but I don't know what specs I'm looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Just to avoid any misunderstanding, I'm talking about the IR emitter (which uses a specific frequency like 850/880/940nm) not about the flash LED in the gun barrel).

I have a heng long ir mushroom and lead which I removed from tank when new. never used as I have no one to do battle with. Any one interested in making an offer. MUSHROOM STILL IN BOX.

It's just the lead with a 8 pin jack at one end, and two jacks at the other end?

I probably have the lead but I'm away from home till February. Contact rctank.de as he got Heng long leads for me before. Sure he will have one.
