Hi, if anybody has put an asiatam recoil and metal barrel in a Pziii, and any IR battle system, can you tell me where you put the IR emitter please? Thinking of getting one and doing it, and would like to know how much is involved in fitting it all.

hi nick you can repalce the bb uint with a jagdpanther recoil unit fits in ir emitter where the red bb fire light gose only done this as heng long mod nigel did the upgrade not me dave

I fitted the Asiatam recoil to panzer 111. Having some trouble with it. Have still not managed to get smooth action. Jamming recoil burnt out an elmod unit. Have not tried to fit battle system yet.

Hi Dave, what barrel did he use? was the recoil any good, and did he fit a flash unit? Did the recoil unit fit in easily or need some messing about, and are they readily available?

he used the original panzer 3 barrel and i believe he cut the end thread bit off a threaded jagdpanther barrel that i stocked. the two were glued together and threaded into the recoil unit. the recoil unit fitted straight in where the bb unit was . it had a high intensity flash in it. recoil is a bit 'snappy' as in it goes a bit fast. i usually have flashes and barrels, but am out of the recoils at the moment. hope this helps. cheers dave
