Although fighting in North Africa started in June this major offensive by British common wealth troops which resulted in the destruction of the Italian 10th Army. This event and previous Italian failures resulted in Germany dispatching the Afrika Korps under the leadership of Field Marshall Erwin Rommel.

These events were to have afar reaching impact on the entire AXIS Strategy.As once again the Germans are dispatched to resolve another Italian failure.
