Fitting reduction gearboxes

Just a quick one. Bought reduction gear boxes for the HL Jagdpanther found to no surprise some of the mounts did'nt line up. Ordered some M3 threaded rod and nuts from ebay for no more than a couple of pounds shipped. 1 secure gearbox.

I was told you had to modify to fit these gears, great idea using the M3 screw and nut to secure the gears in place :clap: :clap: .

Hope it helps. The drive shafts on the new gears were slightly thicker than the originals. So I used a stanley knife to shave the inside of the drive sprockets.
I was quite chuffed it seems to work. :haha:
