Hmm an bit a wobbly question and I'm surprised I never twigged earlier. Is it possible to use 2 ESCs and 1 RX. The obvious concern is that the BEC option is on both ESCs and I only need it once.
I'm thinking I can snip off the supply wire from one RX plug, but I'm not sure yet.

I found the answer, it was as I expected. You simply chop the 5v supply lead on the second ESC.
