I've been asked about one of these units that i advertised for sale. I cannot answer as It came without wiring instructions & i never used it anyway.
As well as the normal two pin plug there are 4 extra wires from the small circut board on the unit.

As you can see all four extra wires are red just to add to the puzzle. They are long enough to reach the front of any tank, so i kinda thought they might wire onto the motors but that's just a guess. So an answer to this would be much appreciated. Andy F.

Hi Andy F
I've seen one like that and you're right, the 4 wires (2 pairs) go to the motors, one pair to each.
But I'm sure you had to match live to live and neutral to nuetral so having all red wires is a puzzle
I know it didn't matter which motor each pair went to and if its any help, the one I saw was as follows:
As you look at the circuit board, the 4 wires come off the bottom (short) edge, one pair on the left, one pair on the right. the two outside wires were red and their paired black wire was just next to them.
Hope that helps

Thanks for such prompt answer's guys. That clears it up. I will replace the two negative wire's with some black one's.
Thanks again to you both, Andy f.
