Thanks all, I sent my Elmod back to rc tank.de and Dominique passed it on to Elmod as he couldn't find an obvious fault. He thinks they will sort it. I think a problem with the recoil or elevation caused a burn out.

I still have a lot to do on this one. Problems with turret rotation, Gun elevation, recoil. I will get back to it soon.
