Guys, any idea where I could purchase sets of teeny tiny springs for use in engine linkages etc. They would only be for show so wouldn't have to take too much strain. I'm thinking something similar in size ( perhaps a little bigger) to the pretend springs that link the rear mud flaps on a panzer IV to the chassis.

Hi
You could try scalehardware.com
I've got small hex bolts etc from them, they may do springs as well.

Have you tried the small springs in ball point pens? Just a thought, Sax

Make your own, Find the gauge of wire you require and wrap it round a suitable bit of rod of your chosen diameter, trim the ends off and hey presto a spring.

Spot on Blimp, if fuse wire is too soft then use old telephone cable just strip off the plastic cover, that,s spot on and a tad stronger,
also wraped mine around a old 0.5mm drill bit held in a vice ........
