Jagdpanther re-done

Heres some piccies of my re-done HL J/panther although not quite finished yet. First off i roughed up the gap between the armour plates with a small burr tool and a dremil.Milliput was then rolled and pressed into the gaps and weld lines added with a flat tool. The jacking block and tool handles had grain added and all badly fitting joins in the body filled and sanded. The model was then washed off with soapy detergent and primed with acrillic. Pre shading was airbrushed in using dark brown Tamiya acrillic and a thin mix of desert yellow drifted over the top allowing the shade to show through. Cammo was airbrushed with Tamiya and finally ambush spots added . A couple of light coats of valajo matt varnish was sprayed on to seal it all together, followed by several thin brown filters. Oil washes of lamp black and burnt sienna were added to add definition. The tracks were treated to washes of rusty brown colours and finished off with MIG pigments. Sprocked teeth were sprayed with metal cote, as were the tools and buffed up. I decided to leave weathering at that for now. I didn't realy fancy adding chips/scratches and loads of rust to this model this time and prefered a newly deployed tank. Allthough i might add a little mud and wot not yet. I,ve printed off some id numbers and national crosses onto frisket and intend to airbrush them onto the model, but haven't decided on what unit i,d like the tank to be yet. Please post any comment s
