Hi All
I have a metal barrel ( monthly 1/16 Tiger tank build ) given to me by " Fynsdad " cheers Mate, which I'm fitting
to my HL Tiger 1instead of my broken plastic barrel,

what I want to know is

, as the barrel got different
names IE I call it the base plate at the turret side and the flash at the front end, from the front flash the diameter is 10mm
then 14mm then at the turret side its 21mm.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Fleshpedler
Thanks for that, I'm working on the fact that the new metal mantlet
that I'm not using as a depth of 12mm which the barrel went
into, if I stuck the new metal barrel into the plastic mantlet
upto 12mm then it should give me the correct lengh.

The mantel barrel section should be 14.8-15.3 mm I.D. The Tiger Metal Barrel should be 13.9-14mm diameter max.I line the mantel section of the barrel with brass tubing for the recoil system. But this I do is not required just a mod.

Hi Sax
Thanks again Mate, the metal barrel I'm using is the one from the " Tiger 1 build magazine "
it came in four parts, I'm only using the barrel and muzzel, I've kept the plastic mantel
with the larger diameter " on the right of your photo " reamed out to take the new metal
barrel, will post but wanted to know the parts of the barrel to explain.

What is not shown in the photo is the brass tubing inside the Mantel barrel section, the gray barrel beside the mantel is a modified metal barrel this was attached to a servo to simulate recoil while sliding on the Airsoft metal barrel. This started as a Creeping Death gun,and I modified it when the C/D gun continued to multifunction.
