It's 1/100 scale. Including half tracks for the grenadier companies there are 146 vehicles painted and more still unpainted. There are also companies of Fallshirmjager with their own support vehicles , stugs and wesps plus air support. Madness. One of my friends has been churning these out in resin. My collection is small compared to his. I'm trying to bring him over to 1/16. I just made an offer on a 1/6 Tiger today. Hope I can get this.

My little Panzer division got out of hand. Cost nothing though. My friend molds them in resin. Churns them out by the dozen.

No luck, Thought I could agree a price on a 1/6 Tiger but communication stopped so I phoned. Sold. I have a wanted add on the Armortek but there are so few around. I think they will launch a new model after christmas so will see what they do. I'm just hoping they do somthing like a tiger or king tiger. They had releases of these in recent times but hope they see it as sensible to produce somthing in demand rather than somthing with limited appeal. The armorteks are expensive but the plastic heng longs can get expensive if you get carried away with upgrades as I did. Problem with the Heng Long is they only keep me building for a week or two. Need a project that will keep me busy for weeks.

I hate painting this small scale. I spent ages painting peadot camo on 1/100 figures and it's hard to see.

If anybody is interested in casting in resin or white metal contact me. No specialist gear required apart from the rubber an resin compounds, some lego and plastacene/modelling clay. If you build a lot of tanks or have a group of friends interested it might be worthwhile.
