What battery do you recommened?

On my Stug build space is going to be an issue. What batteries is everyone running to going to? The 7.2 NIMH seem to be a save bet. But I see more people in the RC world going to Lipos or Lithium Poly batteries. I want to put an rc jack hid some where I can charge the battery with out opening the hull up. So I am looking at 4000 or 5000 ma. battery for staying power for the IR battles. Any thought's or suggestions which way to go. I am new to this and when I get my first tank done I will have at least a days travel to AZ.,TX, CA. to find a club and join for IR warfare. No Clubs I am aware of near me. Thanks Greg
