hi all as promised on another post here are some piks of my trike the engine and gearbox are from a 1971 vw beetle it was originally built by pheonix trikes but was written off it was bought by a friend of a friend who couldnt fix it so he sold it to my friend who used to build these
and he rebuilt the whole chassis and modyfied the body extending it at the back to cover the engine and hinging it at the front so the whole thing tilts to work on the engine it then sat for about three years before i got it i have owned it since may i had to wire the whole thing
ang get it running she is still not finished but she is on the road and she is great fun

Now why would a person install small wheels to the rear frame? Wheelies are an art, skill and just plain fun. But I understand some call it reckless driving, dangerous, and unsafe.
Well I really like your ride, would be fun to take on a road trip. Saxondog

Sweet ride mate.
A friend has a Bon Trike which is very similar(he also has TWO boss hosses)
He let me have a go of it once, very strange compared to a normal bike.

Nice job on trike. I used to build those things for a living and your's looks good. It may suprise many people as to how well the suckers corner. Oh & Wheelie bars's. Essential on a VW trike if you dont want to find yourself underneath looking backwards lol.

hi all glad you like it yes the wheely bar has come in VERY handy when i first got it i got a bit of a go round a private car park.
when i took it for its mot it was my first time on the road with it. as i was pulling out of the mot station i thougt thats a big enough
gap and went for it. i went flying across the road on two wheels luckiy there was another turning oposite and i managed to bring the front down go home and change my underwear
also has anyone noticed i only have a speedo and no fuel guage it only holds about 3gallons aswell
so regular fuel stops are a must
