RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Hi all,

My names Jimmy I'm from the Wirral on merseyside I enjoy all sorts of model making, I have raced RC 1/12 scale cars for a few years
built electric RC boats and earlier this year re-joined my local model yacht club and now race an RC internation one metre yacht at club level.

I always like the idea of getting a scale tank and decided this week to order the Heng Long 1/16 Early Production Tiger 1 (the wifes going to kill me).

Not to sure if I should have got the BB Shooting Tank but I should imagine I can convert it to the IR Battle System if I ever
manage to find a club and someone to fight

Welcome Jimmy, Many of us have been threatened by the wives, mine made it clear no more tanks!! So what can we do,after 19yrs with her I can't give her back, interesting about the boating and we do have a section for those builds as well.

Do like i do buy a tank anyway and then shoot the wife or in my case the 'NOTwife' as she calls herself!

Make sure to upgrade the cannon first.

Thanks for rhe link fv432 I will check it out, I was hoping there may be a club around here on the wirral
were I could take a look to see what goes on. Pity Wroughton is around 200 miles away

not a worry jimmy but the r/c tank regiment is nationwide
