Grossdeutschland Armor

Joachim Peiper sneaking around my Armor, inspection or simply trying to decide which one to take out for a little test?
Just messing around out back behind my home, taking pictures of my tanks of which after 2-years in the hobby never seem to get finished. My first Tiger S13 missing tools and spare tracks.
Also the MG has not been replaced after I removed the main gun for a better system, the Porsche is my favorite but also needs some work.
The newest my Jagdpanther needs the finale sealing weathering and varnishing to finish the paintwork. So here they are my humble collection.

A few more pictures of Wittmann in the Porsche Turret King Tiger, also standing beside a SDKFZ 251/22 with Pak40 gun mount. This is a 1/18scale AFV that I only just removed from the box, I did bot even know the shell cases were under the machine or that so many of the details work, open and operate.

Hi Guy's thanks for the kind words. John the shell crates are 1/18 scale but I have several in 1/16 in the Wittmann figure set that thanks to you how-to guide I can now paint. As for the crate size That depends on the ammo, but the High Energy Armor penetrating shells are in the photo. Crate size is 65mm long x 12mm wide x 16mm deep This is the size of the longer ammo.
In the picture are 1/18 scale(smaller crates) and the larger crates are 1/16 scale.

Thanks for those dimensions. I will make some of those. I made a nice war torn recognition for my Tiger. Only takes a few minutes. Might put up a posting on flag making. Just uploaded a video. Gives a good impression of sound from Elmod.
I was looking at your post on my phone earlier. Now on the big screen I really like that Jagdpanther scheme.

Thanks John, it is unique. I still have much to do but am going slow as I do not want to mess it up. The Schurzen side panels I sprayed with Johnson's floor Polish (two coats) and the first coat of varnish. Tomorrow I will spay another varnish coat and in 48hrs I will see the result.
The Tiger is my first Tank,Asiatam lower,Asiatam gearboxes,Gruapner 400 motors, double fan cooled RX18 and pretty much metal drive everything. When I got the Jagdpanther I hooked it to the Tiger and pulled it backwards while the Jagdpanther was spinning tracks. The Tiger is over 20lbs, and has alot of torque. I have used lead and steel wheel weights in the turret to balance my longer gun barrel which is airsoft with recoil, also in the fenders over the tracks, this Tiger will climb, push, plow through anything. It is a Feb.1943 Grossdeutschland tank modeled after the real S13.
I have a picture of all the ammo for the 88mm gun lined up for comparison I will post for you and others. Thanks for the positive comments as I am proud of my Tanks. Cheers Saxondog

Guy's I found the picture of the 88mm ammo types compared to other tank ammunition. really need to organize my files. On this subject I would add the User Controls on your profile will save every picture/attachment you post so this is another way to repost pictures.Notice the different sizes of Armor piercing HE shells compared to the basic HE shells. cheers Saxondog
