They do make a fair racket running on hard pavement don't they! And to my ear the flame suppressing
exhaust stacks are noisier than the older curved pipes; perhaps it was just all the buildings around
that confined the sounds more...

Excellent video, really like the Panther and the night fighter vision system was too cool.Paint scheme was unique as well. The exhaust was emitting smoke which seems to be an issue with these tanks but does not answer the question of engine performance during the war. I agree with your observation about the exhaust noise and the buildings.
