Hi,

I am new to rc tanks although I have been making models a while and I've just converted an old Action Man Scorpion tank to r/c and it works ok. I had to change the tracks and add the Hang Leng 1/16 sprocket wheels, gears and motor but it works with two speed controllers for drive. I am really bitten by the R/C bug so when I get the hang of the forum I'll post a photo of the tank.

thanks mate and I've had a little look at some of the posts and topics and it will all help in making these models work better and more reliably. Actually and it's me being thick but how do I insert a tank image on the site? Tried pressing image nothing happened.

Hey dylan939, welcome. You need to use a sight like photobucket.com. Once you have uploaded your pics you can copy the link and paste it onto the post.

I'm new to photobucket but it is easy. Load your photos copy the last link in list and paste to your post. Do a preview. If the image is too big only part of picture will appear. You may need to resize in photobucket edit. I resize to 550 and that seems to work.

Hi,

well I have given it a go, but not sure if it's right with this image thing. If not i'll try again later.

Image

Hi,

if this works the tank is nearly finished here but It's complete now with markings and inserts for the wheels to cover the four hole wheel inserts. It works well but a bumpy ride for the figures without suspension. I need to adjust the image as I think it only shwows the front bit.
