				Hi There,
Just registered with your tank forum etc.. as off yet I have no tank but i,m doing plenty of browsing and cant make my mind up whether to go for 1/16 scale or go the extra mile and opt for 1/6 scale!.. any thoughts would be welcome?
I have read about heng long, tamiya and the differences, but the big stuff looks pretty impressive on the old you tube!!
I live near Nottingham England, whats the tank scene like in that neck of the woods? any local to that area?
Regards Merlin
PS: The name comes from one of my Bengal cats..

Hello Merlin, welcome to our forum. Several members do have larger scale tanks and we do have a forum section of larger scale builds and mods. I can't advise you on which way to go. But I'm sure if you need some assistance it will be here for you.
cheers Saxondog

hi and welcome to the forum , at the end of the day its your choice but i have both , 1/16 and just bought a 1/6 pIV , you can get alot more detail on the 1/6 stuff but they take alot more time to build
regards, ice

Welcome to the forum Merlin! When I saw you had a bengal cat, I imediately assumed you must have a Tiger lol. Heng Long 1/16 scale are a cheap fun way to get into the hobby (Theres a few recommend vendors here too and I would thoroughly recomend buying from one of them) so I would just go ahead and get one of them for a start as they are ready to run and you will have something to play with while you build your 1/6 scale.
