Story so far, connected up the DBRC 2 to a new RX14 board. Soldered the blue wire to the middle wire on the volume control on the HL board ( see pict 1 ). then connected the Planet receiver up to the 4 servo leads from the DBRC 2 board. Connected the battery and switched on, then fired up the transmitter and........... nothing absolutely nothing........ except one of the DBRC 2 components ( transistor ? see pict 2 ) got hot. Everything off bloody quick I can tell you, then out of the tank and back into the box. I will have to check that the pinout arrangement is the same for the RX14 and RX18 boards in relation to positive,negative and signal on the 3 pin receiver socket. I may have a go at connecting to the RX18 board and seeing if I get the same issues there. Failing that it wait till the Luton meet and pester any electro-magicians who turn up to " have a look at this PLEASE " ( Matt are you reading this ? lol ).
