i thought it would be easier to paint the tow cable that came with the pre-built tamiya pershing by taking it off, however after trying ripping it off it ofcourse broke so im looking on ebay and find some metal tow cables made for this tank but they have no fixtures? i dont want to just stick it on because that wouldnt look realistic.. any ideas?

Hi
B&Q sell cable about the right size for about £1.80 a metre.
I did the same on my Tiger
so I cut the ends off and drilled and pushed and super glued the cable in

OR
you could do what i did
bend to shape, file some alli or some other metal and super glue in the same places as the plastic ones

You can use coax cable, makes the cable any thickness by doubling it, use the braided part put one end in a vice and the other end in a drill, the outer plastic cover is a perfect fit for the tiger air intake hoses. Jack.

Try going to the Home Depot or Ikea type of shop to buy photo/painting hanging wire - they are easier to shape than bicycle cables.

The cable they use for hanging pictures is habndy for making cables and you can bend it in any shape I used it for one of my pershings.
