RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

I'm confused with the chevron markings on the sides and turrets of Israeli tanks. Are they battalion or company signs and are they aligned front to back or left to right? In other words if the chevron on the left side points to the front, should the one on the right side also point forward? Or should it be left / right, so if the one on the left side points forward, the one on the opposite (right) side points backward? Hope the question makes sense and someone can help!
