We mark this date for the tragic events that has caused our Nations to once again be allies in a War that is as much as all the others a war for the survival of our cultures, faith and way of life. Many today will speak of the events of September 11,2001 but few may speak on the war as it relates to America and the United Kingdom being allies from the first day.

I of course remember the events as I was home and just out of the hospital, sitting in my home watching the events unfold before me, and thinking at that very moment who would stand with us? I knew the UK was there, even if the world stood against us the UK and the people would stand with America.

So today I want to give thanks not only to the service men and women of the United Kingdoms Military, but to the people who have stood beside Americans every time the world faced a threat to the way of life of our two peoples.

We shall win the ultimate victory as our two peoples have every time evil in this world has threatened our Nations,our way of life, our faith in God and our future generations yet born into a world that is free because of the stand we now make together. God Bless our people, a free people now and ever more.
