This is my first attempt at doing up a tank. She has metal tracks, sprockets + idlers, asitam flash, reduction gears, on board charging in main hatch with full el-mod and PT5 2.4ghz radio gear..

Fine work, really good detailing. Paint work looks good, was the rear panel detail difficult to paint? I have yet to start on that part of my Jagdpanther so I am curious how you painted that part? Sax

Hi saxondog, believe it or not, i painted it by hand using vajello modle air. The detailing is very simple to do, just use a 00 soft bristle brush. Very lightly go over the edges you what to highlight with steel or gunmetal paint. After you give it the washes dry brush steel or gunmetal back over it..( dry burshing is important ) not too much paint..

Thanks for the tips guy's, I have one more shade of gray to add then the floor polish sealer, maybe a little pastel shadowing and the Matte varnish. I had a bad chemical reaction on my Jagdpanther. the Varnish and the dull-coat (first time mixing) did not work well together and dried out a dirty brown glaze. But the rear panel details are what I was curious about. On my Tigers I disassembled the parts and painted just the hull plate to match the rest then painted each detailed piece separate. But you guy's are getting some fine looking finishes so I may have to strip it off and start over.
