Futaba transmitter mod for gun?

Ive seen a modded version of a futaba controller for these tanks for the gun and main gun? is it worth doing this and is their any information on how to modify the controllers?

hi , when you say these tanks, do you mean tamiya , matorro or henglong ?

tamiya
