kv-1 rear deck/nuts

does anyone have
a: the resin upgrade rear deck
b: a tamiya kv-1

if so can some kid soul please give me the mesurements between the nuts on the rear deck?? heng longs kv-1 has 1 to many nuts across the rear deck so the spacing is out

does anyone know were 2mm hex head nuts can be had?

Hi,

By 2mm hex head nuts I assume you mean hex head setscrews that are 2mm across the flats.

If so, possibly the best source might be one of the model engineering suppliers such as Reeves. I suspect you might have to find the nearest BA size though.

Hi again!

The smallest size they stock in steel is 12 BA which are 2.29mm across flats. I like steel because when the paint on them wears they get a natural rust finish.

They come in bags of 100 and are not cheap, but you will probably be surprised how many you will use over a period

cheers, if i cant find the right size ill have to canibilise plastic nuts off a spare hull,,thanks for the link thogh some good stuff there :clap:

still need that nut spacing
