hi there yes
welsh dragon is the only uk supplier
the kit .. ok ... but if your not too experenced .. i would not attempt the conversion....
you need to remove the whould engine deck and have to be super accurate at doing so ..
the replacement deck id 4.5 mm to short . so there is a gap at the back end whcich i ended up makeing a new rear centre engine deck pannel
the kitt contains a replacement gun mantle .. but it useless as it has no location luggs for fitting in place to the front of the bb gun
so you end up rehashng the hl mantle fit...
the barrel i had was bent .. i tryed evey trick in the book to get corrected and gave up .. so ended up spending out on a shcumo barrell ( £45 )
if i remember right it cost me £112 for the profiline conversion + £45 for a barrel
i would only give this kit 2 out of 10.. its well made...but it felt like i was trying to fit ford parts to a vw ...

Hi thanks I might scratch it . Im modeling my one on a Jagdpanther from the 3rd company of s.PZ.Jg.Abt. 654 . Theres several photos of this unit using the early Jagdpanthers but with the later two part barrel (in the 3rd company) . The one I have is the HL recoil version . I feel the collar can be made , Im sure WDM sells the circular engine grills , Ive made the oblong ones before and the other detail can be made / altered . I have a set of early exhausts . Im not sure if I will fit extra storage locker on the suporstructor tho as not sure if this units had them ? will look into that . Many thanks for the advice and you have a real nice Jagdpanther there mate .
Thanks Andy

Hi Daisycutter , The early Jagdpanther had the folowing differances to my knowledge:
Smooth colar around barrel no bolts , ( and then a bigger collar with bolts top and bottom ),
Engine grills same as Panther A not like the later Panther G,
No crew heater,
Exhausts standard Panther A ones , some had cooling pipes added late ones had flame arestors,
Barrels on first models in one piece later ones two piece (although the tank Im representing is an early one it does have a two piece barrel),
Tooling still mounted on the sides (this only changed on the real late version were they were fitted on the rear suporstructor and engine deck , I think )
Theres diferances on the rear engine deck to.
Oh and most early ones were zimerited.

Hi thats it . Is that the one from the Imperial war museum ? The one in this picture is from the Abt 654 in Normandy . This is what Im looking into representing . Its the early model but has the later two piece barrel.
