track teeth

Post by tanker bob »

Hi, I don't know if any body has had this problem with thier Mato Sherman but while we was I/R battleing on grass the teeth come off the pins what go across the tracks, so I have centre dotted all the the pins both sides of the tracks and doing a test run every thing seems fine up to yet, I tried to rivet the ends on a few but they are just not long enough. I think its quite a good tank now I have RX18 in I/R and barrel recoil. Just got to spray it sometime.

Bob:
Are you talking about using a center punch to spread the end of the pin in the track guards? Did you do both sides of the track if so? Do you have the stock plastic chevron, or did you do this to the metal cleat tracks?
