hi all
as some of you know, i am a member on PK, i have just pm'ed rctiger, the administrator, to see if we could put a link over there to this forum, here is what i put--
hi
i am tony (tiger205)  i am a member on this forum, but have not posted here for a while now due to not much activity here, plus i recently joined a new forum here in england, and have been made a "global moderator" there, what i would like to ask you is, would it be possible to put a link to the forum in england on your links page, we would like also to put a link on our forum to this forum, we hope that by doing this it will encourage members from both forums to interact and possibly join both forums, it would also promote our hobby and encourage new people into the hobby, at the same time i hope it would help both forums to grow stronger and better.
http://www.rctankwarfare.com/Forums/index.php this is the link, to our site i am giving you it now in the hope that what i have suggested will be ok with you and the team here on PK. i look forward to hearing from you
i will post here any reply that i get

Very good idea Tony some very nice stuff on there site and some very clever stuff to. ( even better if I could read German LOL ) What's the chance of you posting your home made 3 to 1 reduction gearbox here ? I think a few people would find it usefull. Also Bubbajoexx on RCU posted a very similair idea but adjusted the engine mounting point let us know what you think on that one if you get a chance. All the best for now (cheeky sod )

hi alan i do hope we get a result and get PK on board, like you say theres alot of brilliant stuff on there, "mortimer" springs to mind, that bloke is a genius, when it comes to scratch building he really is in a league of his own. i know very little german my self, but like when i was little i look at the pictures, and also nigel speaks german and he talks me through it when i'm over his place,
i will be putting up a post on my 3-1 gearboxes soon, i keep forgetting, have you got a link to Bubbajoexx's post on rcu? i would like to see it too compare it to mine
